Why I Started Lavender Collective

Different brands. One through line. A life built with purpose.

There are businesses you start because you see an opportunity.

And then there are the things you build because life changed you so deeply that you can no longer imagine doing anything without purpose behind it.

Lavender Collective is the second kind.

It wasn’t born from one perfectly polished business plan or a moment when I suddenly knew exactly what my future would look like.

It grew quietly.

Through chapters ending that I thought would last forever. Through starting over. Through motherhood. Through creativity. Through advocacy. Through rebuilding businesses, rebuilding dreams, and, in many ways, rebuilding myself.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t want to choose between all the parts of who I am.

I didn’t want to choose between business and advocacy.

Between creativity and purpose.

Between telling difficult stories and creating joyful ones.

Between building something meaningful and simply creating beautiful things because beautiful things matter too.

So I stopped trying to make everything fit into one box.

And I built a bigger table.

That became Lavender Collective.

Why Lavender?

Lavender has always felt like more than a color to me.

It can be soft without being fragile.

Calming without disappearing.

Beautiful, but resilient.

It grows.

It heals.

And even after difficult seasons, it blooms again.

That became the heart behind this company.

Lavender Collective represents the belief that something meaningful can still grow after everything changes.

And sometimes, what grows next looks nothing like what you originally planned.

Sometimes it looks better.

Different Brands. One Through Line.

At first glance, the businesses underneath Lavender Collective may seem very different.

A creative agency.

A boutique.

A podcast.

An advocacy and rebuilding platform.

A café concept.

A kid-centered creative world.

But to me, they have never felt disconnected.

They all come back to the same things:

Creativity. Connection. Story. Reinvention. Joy. Purpose. Impact.

Each brand simply speaks that language differently.

Lavender Creative

"Creativity that helps ideas become something people remember."

I have always loved the space where strategy and creativity meet.

The idea behind Lavender Creative is simple: businesses deserve more than pretty graphics and random marketing.

They deserve a story.

A voice.

A strategy.

A reason for people to care.

Lavender Creative brings together branding, marketing, public relations, storytelling, content and creative direction to help businesses turn an idea into something recognizable and meaningful.

Because great marketing isn’t just about being seen.

It’s about being remembered.

J15 Boutique

"A reminder that reinvention doesn’t always mean starting from zero."

J15 represents a different piece of my story.

Retail, fashion and entrepreneurship have been part of my life for years, and I couldn’t imagine building Lavender Collective without making room for the business that taught me so much about customers, community, creativity and resilience.

J15 is fashion, lifestyle and fun.

But underneath all of that is something bigger:

The idea that something established can evolve without losing the heart that made people love it in the first place.

Sometimes rebuilding isn’t about throwing away the old chapter.

Sometimes it’s about giving it a beautiful next one.

The Lavender Table

"Because some of the most important conversations happen when people feel invited to sit down."

There is something powerful about a table.

People gather around tables to celebrate.

To disagree.

To cry.

To laugh.

To tell stories they haven’t told anywhere else.

That is what I want The Lavender Table to feel like.

Not an interview.

A conversation.

A place where founders, advocates, survivors, leaders, creators, professionals, parents, changemakers and everyday people can pull up a chair and talk about the things that actually matter.

Success.

Failure.

Faith.

Business.

Loss.

Purpose.

Starting over.

And everything in between.

There is no requirement to have a massive platform or an impressive title.

You just need a story worth sharing.

And I believe we all have one.

So when someone sits down at The Lavender Table, there’s one question I want to begin with:

What’s in your cup today?

Lavender After Storm

"Because survival should never be the end of the story."

This may be the most personal part of the Collective.

Lavender After Storm exists for the spaces people don’t always know how to talk about.

While you’re still in it.

When you’re trying to leave.

During separation.

During court.

During post-separation abuse.

During financial rebuilding.

During the strange season when you’ve survived something enormous and suddenly realize you still have to figure out who you are afterward.

There is so much information about surviving the storm.

But I kept coming back to one question:

What happens after?

What happens when you have to rebuild a home?

A career?

Your confidence?

Your identity?

Your finances?

Your dreams?

Your sense of purpose?

Lavender After Storm combines advocacy, education, survivor-centered resources, conversations about systems and reform, and non-clinical reinvention support.

It isn’t about returning to the person you were before everything happened.

Sometimes that person doesn’t exist anymore.

It’s about discovering who you get to become next.

Not above you.

Not ahead of you.

Beside you.

Arm in arm.

Sweetheart Café

"Because healing and purpose can also look like coffee, cake and a place that feels good to walk into."

Not everything meaningful has to begin with something heavy.

Sometimes connection looks like a warm drink.

A pastry.

A conversation.

A place where someone knows your name.

A table you stay at longer than you intended.

Sweetheart Café represents hospitality, community and one of the things I believe we sometimes forget when life gets serious:

Joy matters.

Beauty matters.

Food matters.

Gathering matters.

The little moments matter.

I want Sweetheart Café to eventually feel like the kind of place where people come for something sweet and leave feeling a little more connected than when they arrived.

Emme’s Eventures

"Because building a meaningful life also means making room for wonder."

Then there is probably the most joyful little corner of Lavender Collective:

Emme’s Eventures.

Creativity. Baking. Makeup. Toys. Reviews. Adventures. Events. K-pop. Crafts. Giveaways. Trying new things and discovering what you love.

It is colorful, curious and fun.

And I love what it represents inside the larger Collective.

Because rebuilding a life isn’t only about handling the difficult things.

It is also about giving the next generation permission to dream loudly.

To create.

To explore.

To be silly.

To develop their own interests.

To discover who they are.

There should always be room in a purpose-driven company for pure joy.

Emme’s Eventures is that reminder.

So What Is Lavender Collective Really?

It would be easy to describe Lavender Collective as a parent company.

Technically, yes.

But that doesn’t fully explain it.

To me, Lavender Collective is a home for ideas that have heart behind them.

Lavender Creative builds brands.

J15 celebrates style and entrepreneurship.

The Lavender Table creates conversation.

Lavender After Storm turns lived experience into advocacy, education and rebuilding.

Sweetheart Café creates gathering and hospitality.

Emme’s Eventures protects a space for creativity, curiosity and joy.

Different audiences.

Different industries.

Different ways of showing up in the world.

But the same belief underneath all of them:

What we create should mean something.

It should connect people.

It should make someone feel seen.

It should tell a story.

It should bring some kind of beauty, usefulness, joy or change into the world.

The Mission Is Bigger Than Business

I want Lavender Collective to grow.

Of course I do.

I want successful businesses.

I want thriving brands.

I want collaborations and campaigns and packed conversations around The Lavender Table.

I want J15 boxes going out the door.

I want Sweetheart Café filled with people.

I want Emme’s Eventures making kids smile.

I want Lavender After Storm reaching someone at 2 a.m. who desperately needs to know that her story isn’t over.

But success alone isn’t the mission.

Impact is.

I want to build a company where commercial success creates more capacity to do meaningful things.

Where creativity supports advocacy.

Where storytelling creates awareness.

Where businesses can collaborate instead of existing in separate little worlds.

Where people can come through one door and discover something else they didn’t even know they needed.

That is why they belong together.

And We’re Only Beginning.

Lavender Collective is still growing.

Some ideas are already established.

Some are being rebuilt.

Some are just beginning to bloom.

And I think there is something beautiful about letting people see that part too.

You don’t have to wait until everything is perfect to begin creating the life you want.

You don’t have to have every answer.

You don’t need the entire five-year plan mapped out before taking the first step.

Sometimes you simply plant something.

You nurture it.

You protect it.

You keep showing up.

And one day you look around and realize—

you’re standing in something you once only imagined.

That’s Lavender Collective.

A collection of businesses, stories, dreams and ideas growing under one roof.

Different brands.

One through line.

And a whole lot still waiting to bloom.

Welcome to Lavender Collective.

Stay awhile.

Explore the brands.

Pull up a chair.

Follow the stories.

Watch what we’re building.

And maybe, somewhere along the way, you’ll be reminded that your next chapter is allowed to bloom too.

Welcome to the Lavender era. 💜
