MEET STEPHANIE
Founder. Storyteller. Advocate. Builder.
I’ve spent much of my life building things– businesses, campaigns, communities, ideas, and, more recently, an entirely new chapter.
My work lives at the intersection of entrepreneurship, creative strategy, storytelling, advocacy, education, and reinvention.
Lavender Collective brings those pieces together under one roof.

My Story

I didn’t build Lavender Collective because life went according to plan.
Some of the biggest things I’ve built came from seasons I never would have chosen.
I’ve been an entrepreneur, a marketer, a sales professional, a nonprofit founder, an advocate, a student of psychology and criminal justice, a mother, and someone who has had to learn what rebuilding looks like when the future you expected changes completely.
For years, I thought all of those parts of my life had to exist separately.
Business belonged over here.
Advocacy belonged over there.
Creativity was something different.
Education was another chapter.
Motherhood was its own world.
Eventually, I realized they were all connected.
The years I spent building businesses taught me how to create, sell, communicate, and lead.
Advocacy taught me the power of telling the truth clearly and using lived experience to challenge systems that are not working.
Education gave me a deeper understanding of people, policy, behavior, and the structures surrounding families and communities.
Motherhood changed the reason behind almost everything I do.
And rebuilding taught me something I never expected:
Starting over does not mean starting from nothing.
You carry every skill, lesson, mistake, relationship, experience, and piece of wisdom from the chapters before.
That belief became one of the foundations of Lavender Collective.
I didn’t want to build another company that existed only to sell something. I wanted to build an ecosystem where creativity could support business, storytelling could create connection, advocacy could create change, and success could create greater capacity to help others.
So I stopped trying to fit everything into one box.
I built a bigger table.
And that became Lavender Collective.

Put Me First
Nonprofit and advocacy work centered on missing persons and domestic violence.
Creativity can build businesses.
Stories can create connection.
Advocacy can create change.
Education can challenge systems.
Success can create capacity to help someone else.
And starting over does not mean starting from nothing.
THAT IS THE THROUGH LINE BEHIND MY WORK.
The titles matter. But they’re not the whole story.
I’m a mother first.
I’m endlessly curious.
I love building something from an idea that existed only in my head.
I ask a lot of questions- which may be exactly why The Lavender Table exists.
I believe beautiful things can still have substance.
I believe difficult stories can be told without allowing them to consume an entire identity.
And I believe we are allowed to build lives that look completely different from the ones we originally planned.
Why Lavender?
Lavender became the visual language for what I wanted this chapter to represent.
Soft, but not weak.
Beautiful, but resilient.
Calm after chaos.
Something capable of growing again after a difficult season.
Lavender Collective is not a story about everything going right.
It is a story about continuing to build anyway.
There’s still a lot left to build.
Lavender Collective is growing one brand, story, resource, and conversation at a time. If something here connects with you — whether you want to build a brand, share a story, collaborate, invite me into a conversation, or simply follow what we’re creating — there’s a seat for you here.
